Usain Bolt Gold Nissan GT-R To Be Auctioned For Charity On eBay

Starting Thursday November 22, A ‘Bolt Gold’ Nissan GT-R so named in honor of Olympic gold-medalwining sprinter Usain Bolt, will be auctioned on eBay.

Through the charity auction, the Nissan brand ambassador and “Director of Excitement” for the Japanese automaker, will be raising funds for his Usain Bolt Foundation which supports which supports educational and cultural opportunities for children in Jamaica.

The auction opens up Thursday on eBay Motors and runs through to the end of the day on December 2nd, but is only open to residents of countries where the GT-R is already sold.

Usain Bolt said of the auction:

“This project excites me because it brings together my passion for speed and excellence, and my desire to help kids and young people. Thanks to Nissan, all the revenue from the GT-R charity auction will be donated to the Usain Bolt Foundation, which will go directly to children to help develop their education and allow them to participate in sports.”

The car will be for the top bidder’s respective country.

Other items endorsed by the World’s Fastest Man and up for auction include an Autographed Gold Closed-Faced Aria Racing Helmet, Autographed Puma EvoSpeed Driving Boots and Autographed White Nissan GT-R Baseball Cap.
