Diddy May Lose Liquor Partnerships if Convicted of UCLA Charges

The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau states that all alcohol producers and manufacturers must "not, within five years prior to the date of application, been convicted of a felony under Federal or State law, and has not, within three years prior to date of application, been convicted of a misdemeanor under any federal law relating to liquor, including the taxation thereof." Several states, including Oklahoma, Louisiana and Michigan, have strict laws regarding convicted felons and liquor licenses, which would make it even more difficult for Diddy to distribute his products in those select places, which could ultimately end his joint partnership with Diageo indefinitely.

Sean "Puffy" Combs is currently facing several charges, including three counts of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of battery, and another count for making terrorist threats. Sal Alosi - the coach Diddy allegedly assaulted for berating his son, Justin Combs - has not said if he would move forward with the charges as of yet, but there have been rumors that UCLA is not looking to go through with it.
